Pelican recently went to the aid of a raider who had some propeller problems. Thanks Mike and Byron from all the raiders for your help and support of fishraider.com.au. He is always ready & willing to help anybody regarding any information & sharing his fishing knowledge. So it doesn't surprise me that he has been promoted. But maybe I'm a little bit biased as I have gone out fishing with him & he helped me catch my first Jewfish. He taught me everything I know when it comes to Jewfishing. So since I can't give much back in the way of fishing skills it is only right I should give something back in the way of other knowledge. As said in the prop post I hate seeing people stuck on what is often a simple thing with the right tools and had met Dan before. Wasn't a simple one in the end but hate half solutions so once started .......... Glad to have helped and thanks to the site and all who have helped me in the past let alone the future. It is often the simple little tips- a few words - that make fishing more productive or diagnose a problem in equipment or technique that makes the forum great. Now I'm just a little worried about the "gold Member" initiation?? I'm not game to google it!! Pel Congrats Jewgaffer - you probably don't get enough thanks on your posts as when I read em a few others have already thanked you so I am sure like others I read and try and absorb your knowledge but don't really say thanks. I must say this a great site and I am glad that I've been able to contribute something of benefit to our members. I look forward to doing more posts, helping new members and meeting and fishing with more of the top anglers that this site is so well known for. Being made a Gold Member of the leading fishing site at this stage of my life certainly makes me feel good and I will continue to help, advise and fish with our members whenever I can.
